Sergii Malynovskyi

Sergii Malynovskyi is an international economic development advisor specializing in trade policy, investment promotion, and market entry strategy. With more than fifteen years of professional experience in international development and economic policy, he has worked with governments, multilateral institutions, and private-sector stakeholders to support foreign direct investment and cross-border business expansion across Europe, Africa, and the Caucasus.

Currently based in The Hague, Sergii brings extensive regional insight and a strong professional network across key European markets. His advisory work has focused on helping governments and economic development organizations strengthen their investment ecosystems while assisting companies in identifying new market opportunities and navigating complex regulatory environments.

Earlier in his career, he contributed to major policy initiatives with the European Commission related to trade policy and regulatory reform in Azerbaijan. In this role, he supported programmes aimed at aligning the country’s trade and regulatory framework with World Trade Organization standards, improving customs procedures, strengthening institutional capacity, and enhancing the investment climate through targeted training and policy support.

He has also worked with Business Finland to facilitate investment opportunities and trade missions, advising Finnish companies on market entry strategies in Ukraine and the Caucasus while fostering public–private partnerships that support international business collaboration.

At T&A Consulting, Sergii leads outreach initiatives in the Benelux region with a particular focus on the Netherlands. He works closely with the Dutch business and innovation ecosystem to identify strategic prospects aligned with sector priorities and supports relationship building that strengthens international investment engagement.
